        Verdict

        Several of these can be given a chance but Richard Hughes's presence on ELITE FORCE takes the eye. The latter has gone close in both starts at Wolverhampton this year, though Sequester scored at the same track last month and is only 3lb higher today. Secular Society can race off the same mark as when runner-up over track and trip recently and Silver Dixie ran well at Lingfield on his return to action but has been raised 4lb for finishing second. Ifan won twice last year and is not badly handicapped on his return to action.
