      Verdict

COSMEAPOLITAN showed good pace for a long way at Sandown and the likely quicker going should enable him to get home over this longer trip. Unless one of the newcomers is decent he should take this. Et Toi also ran well over that track and trip in July and probably wasn't suited by the mile on soft going at Newbury when well beaten. Executor also ran on soft ground at Newbury where he attracted good support but eventually finished last. He'll have learnt plenty from the run and should finish much closer. Bluff Crag made an encouraging start over a trip too short at Salisbury and looks best of the remainder.
