        Verdict

        MEETINGS MAN has a superb strike-rate of 13-66 and battled on over the track and trip last time to score comfortably. He looks perfectly capable of going in again after only being raised 4lb as he's won from higher marks in the past. Guard Of Honour has only won over hurdles and is a real staying type so this trip and fast ground may not play to his strengths. Statsminister looked to have a decent future when completing a double last summer though hasn't gone on as expected but May Be Some Time would have a fair chance providing potential punters could forgive a poor latest run at Salisbury. Sir Jack Layden takes a drop in grade and looks best of the remainder.
