    Verdict

Hope Is High will obviously be popular with the leader of the jockey's title race aboard but WASSAIL could prove too good off the bottom perch after showing much-improved form to score at Nottingham over 1m6f. She handled the good to firm conditions well and should be at home on the forecast ground providing the rains stay away. The Shamardal filly clearly relished the step-up in trip the last twice and should prove competitive off such a lowly mark with more improvement expected. The Detainee scored well on his first start for the Mulholland team and should be thereabouts along with Halling's Wish but Londonia could emerge as the main danger as he remains unexposed on the level but has been in excellent form over timber.
