Verdict

Some in-form sprinters clash and Fethiye Boy will presumably set out to burn his rivals off as was the case when just prevailing at Sandown five days ago. He's in great form and must be shortlisted but TRICK OF THE LIGHT is a viable alternative. He's enjoyed a steadily progressive campaign and expect David Egan to sit tight and try to reel in the likely trailblazer late on, tactics that worked effectively when the gelding obliged here last time. Ginzan and Edged Out both like it here but the one to note is Discreet Hero. His form tailed off badly last season but he'll be tough to beat if back to the level of a fine York sprint win over a year ago. Given a break, he's now been gelded and the booking of De Sousa for this comeback run naturally takes the eye.
