A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Lorikeet, Kayf Aramis and Dark Parade and the vote is given to Lorikeet. The selection has been in good form on the all-weather of late and won well last time out when beating Tavalu, he returns to turf on what looks a good mark and he looks the value bet in an open affair. Kayf Aramis rates the main danger on his best form but he tends to improve for his first run of the season and he looks weighted up to his best and he is taken on with this in mind. Dark Parade is on a handy mark on his best form and with his stable in form he could go well at a price but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder Cantabilly has been in good form over hurdles of late and with the booking of Richard Hughes catching the eye he should be noted in the market but for the winner we are happy to return to Lorikeet.
