In depth

Verdict

Another tough race here for punters with very little public form to go on but Pittsburgh, Alfie Noakes and Rightful Ruler are three against the field and the tentative vote goes to Pittsburgh. The selection was a fair fourth not beaten far behind Merchant on his debut he looks sure to have learnt from the expectance and under similar conditions he will be hard to beat. Alfie Noakes rates the main danger on his debut staying on third behind Esquire he is sure to appreciate this extra furlong and will not be far away. Rightful Ruler is another worthy of respect as was a never nearer fourth over course and distance behind Rumbalara last time and is another that is sure to improve. Of the remainder Notability and Hawridge Star are others that have shown enough in their runs to date to suggest they can win a race of this nature but they have both given the impression they will do better over longer trips and for the winner we return to Pittsburgh.
