We will opt for Flapdoodle in a competitive finale, with Tomthevic, Tappit and Enjoy The Buzz possibly posing the biggest threats to him. Flapdoodle is just a pound higher in the ratings than when scoring at Brighton last June, should be sharper for his seasonal return and can go well. Tomthevic is now back to a winning mark from last summer, so place him on your shortlist too, while Tappit, a course winner made eyecatching late headway behind the in-form Foley Millennium - a winner again since - here last time, and is another with strong claims. Enjoy The Buzz is still fairly well weighted based on his Lingfield win on June 19, while there is no doubt that course and distance winner Tamarella is very well handicapped based on that success last June and the drop to five furlongs after a string of runs over six, plus first-time blinkers could yet show her in a better light. Finally, Blessed Place runs again quickly after a fair run behind Foley Millennium at Haydock on Saturday. As we say, a competitive handicap but Flapdoodle, even though he has not fared too well with the draw, might provide the answer.
