Most of these exposed sprinters turn up now and again but best to tread carefully in a minefield of a sprint. Course and distance winner Diamond Vine is tempting off this mark but is more effective over a sixth furlong whereas this represents the ideal trip for Volcanic Dust and it'll be interesting to see if his inexperienced pilot can manoeuvre him through this field. He should be a leading player if doing so but BURNT CREAM is narrowly preferred despite this being his seasonal reappearance. He does need the cards to fall his way but he's gone well in the past here and is a hopeful choice. Richard Hughes gets the leg up on Belle Bayardo and this consistent sort should be there or thereabouts.
