In depth

Verdict

Captain Hawk and Masquerade Bling both failed to back up debuts of promise and are probably best watched although more was certainly expected from the former when sent on the long trek to Ayr from Lambourn. He'd be of interest if the money comes for him again. Restore showed little on debut but it's dangerous to ignore any representative of the Hannon juvenile army which is also represented by newcomer DESERT MARK. Stable inmates usually improve considerably for their first run but this doesn't look the strongest of contests on paper and the son of Approve is a speculative choice. Tom Dascombe and Clive Cox both have their strings in good heart at present and both are capable of readying one first time which brings Big Time Baby and Kodiline, sons of Dandy Man and Kodiac respectively, into the argument.
