CROWN is taken to get her career off to a winning start, Chicita Banana and Country Princess are just two of several runners of interest. Richard Hannon has a decent strike rate with his juveniles at Bath and his runners are usually pretty forwards. Crown has a speedy pedigree, is well drawn and made 50,000 guineas at the sales. Chicita Banana was a weak favourite for the Brocklesby but showed up well for a long way; Tony Culhane takes over from an apprentice and the market may be revealing. Country Princess is by a speedy sire who is having his first Northern Hemisphere juvenile runners this season and it's interesting to see her partnered by Seb Sanders as he boasts a decent strike rate on juveniles from this yard. Michaelmas Daisy wasn't disgraced on debut and merits a second look as do the majority of the field; Crown is sure to know her job and should be at the head of affairs.
