Verdict

King Alfonso finally won over fences at Worcester around this time last year and was successful over hurdles at Market Rasen last time, though that was only a seller. OMEGA SPRINGS has yet to prove he stays this far but handled these fences well enough 11 days ago and appears to have settled in quickly at Dai Wlliams’ yard. The Irish import has a good chance of a second career win today as Vif Argent is looking a shadow of his former self and none of the others arrive in any kind of form.
