A wide open hunter chase here and as usual the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Mister Falcon, Just Cliquot and Jackson and the vote goes to Mister Falcon. The selection has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his latest win in a point to point would see him go close. Just Cliquot rates the main danger he has won all his completed starts in good style and if he copes with these stiffer regulation fences he will not be far away. Jackson is another that has been in fair form between the flags but his best form is on very fast ground and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder The Vintage Dancer was a fair third behind Bahamian Spirit last time and that horse has since franked the form at Cheltenham so he has definite place claims. But in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Mister Falcon.
