In depth

Verdict

King Mak won this last year and he gets his chance to repeat the dose off the same handicap mark. Marjorie Fife adds cheekpieces for the first time to the ten-year-old, and a hood for the first time to Lawgiver, and both have obvious claims. THE MAD ROBERTSON is a full brother to Finger Onthe Pulse and connections will doubtless be hoping that he will be every bit as good as his brother in time. The manner in which he won over C&D recently suggests that he will be up to this task. King Ozzy had some fair form for Martin Keighley though Lawney Hill has yet to rediscover the key to him. Trackmate left behind some woeful efforts to win a weaker race at Stratford but Parc Des Princes was beaten by the selection when they last met, though has gone on to score at Market Rasen.
