    Verdict

Clarion Call continues to go close in races of this nature and Evan Williams' inmate is sure to be backed again. With fingers burned so often, we look elsewhere and QUINSMAN fits the bill. A middle distance-performer on the Flat for Stan Moore, he caught the eye when given too much to do at Uttoxeter and showed the necessary improvement to go close at Market Rasen on his latest start - compensation awaits. Record Breaker used to bully his opposition from the front when trained by Mark Johnston but he's struggled to score under this code, even when dropped to selling company. That'll Do Nicely has had a couple of pipe-openers on the level and Nicky Richards' nine-year-old cannot be discounted if the rain stays away while Ma Toolan made all to win a Worcester bumper and is noted in the market.
