In depth

Verdict

TIM PAT has made a successful transition to chasing last season having won both starts over fences so far and connections will be hopeful that a wind surgery can see him continue to proceed onward. Jeffery's Cross ran too badly to be true at Fontwell and is sure to do better here. Keep Wondering stays well and his inexperienced pilot has won on two of her three rides so far this season while Lounge Lizard has been a perennial pick for placepot players and may go close again. Only The Bold ironically returns to Wales on his first start for David Pipe having previously campaigned for Evan Williams.
