Verdict

CHILBURY HILL was easy to back at Newton Abbot on Sunday though his followers didn't have too many moments of concern and Tim Vaughan's charge can strike again under a penalty. Mister Wiseman likes to make the running and he took advantage of a lenient mark at Market Rasen at the beginning of the month. He faced a tough task to win from out of the handicap on a follow-up bid, but he appears capable of going close off his correct mark. Cocoa Key is yet to rediscover any of the ability he showed for Malcolm Jefferson though he did run with some promise at Wetherby on his first start for new connections. Apache Dawn was clobbered by the handicapper for winning a couple of modest events at Taunton and Southwell and he'll need a career best to win this.
