Verdict

Donald McCain is mob-handed in what looks a modest Class 4 handicap. Iceman Dennis is still a maiden but looks the pick of the quartet as he was making ground when falling over 2m here last month. Handicap debutant Vandemere has been very lightly raced for his age and Hidor De Bersy hinted at a revival when fourth at Ludlow but we’ll give a final chance to HARDY BOY. He was a close second at Kempton two runs ago and didn’t enjoy soft ground last time at Huntingdon. Ghasham has gone up 6lb for winning a lesser race at Market Rasen but Thankyourluckystar has strong claims back on a sound surface.
