Verdict

An earlier winner at Market Rasen, Montys Angel looked beaten when running out at the last at Southwell and is now 6lb higher. MURPHY’S LAW went close to shedding his maiden tag at Perth. He has been raised 4lb for his troubles but there looks to be more to come. Codeshare needs fast ground and won’t have conditions to suit here but, as long is there isn’t further rain, Polished Rock shouldn’t be inconvenienced and Johnny Farrelly’s Ffos Las runner-up has decent claims along with Handy Hollow
