Verdict

The front-running See The Sea makes her handicap debut having followed up a Cartmel success with victory over track and trip earlier this month. She will need to take a further step forward, however. So Lonely ran in a valuable mares’ handicap at Galway having already won three times this year. She never looked like winning that day but this is far less competitive. Inn The Bull was fourth at Southwell in June but is looking a shadow of his former self. OUTCROP (NAP) certainly wasn’t winning out of turn here last time and, only 2lb higher, should make another bold bid under the up-and-coming Tommy Dowson.
