Verdict

NEVER NEVER was let down by his jumping on his debut over hurdles at Uttoxeter but still ran with plenty of promise. The Hexham bumper winner may enjoy a fitness advantage over likely market rivals Handmaid, who has been rested since finishing tailed off in a Listed Cheltenham bumper in November. It's difficult to make much of a case for any of the others on what they've shown so far, though Scutsisland did show a bit more when fifth at Chepstow on his latest outing.
