Verdict

This big step up in trip will suit Natter Jack Croak and he's an interesting contender in what is probably an above-average maiden for the track. Motueka was only beaten a neck over 2m4f at Worcester last month while Benechenko was second at Wincanton and a first try over 3m should bring about further improvement. EVERYBODY'S TALKIN changed hands for £65,000 in June having won a Lisronagh point-to-point. He's a half-brother to chaser Marquis Of Carabas, who also won over hurdles, and can make a winning start under Rules even though his long-term future will be over fences.
