Dishdasha, Traprain and Prince Ary are three against the field in a competitive handicap hurdle and the tentative nomination is given to Traprain. The selection was a fair second behind Majorca when last seen in a novices chase he returns to hurdles off what looks a fair mark and under conditions that suit he looks a value bet in an open affair. Dishdasha rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Norma Hill. However he does himself no favours by pulling so hard and he looks opposable on that basis. Prince Ary would be a danger to all on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Saif Sareea will relish conditions and could go well at a price but he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder Country Escape was a fair third behind Colliers Court last time and will appreciate this longer trip but for the winner we are happy to return to Traprain who has plenty of ticks in the right boxes.
