In depth

Verdict

BALLYBOUGH GORTA jumped well and rarely looked in danger of defeat when scoring by 20 lengths over a longer trip at Cartmel last month. That was his second recent success at the Lakeland course and a hat-trick could be on the cards here despite a new career-high mark. Full Of Joy was well behind the selection two runs ago but was only beaten a neck at Worcester last time, though is 4lb higher now. Mostly Bob was raised 6lb after returning to form at Stratford in July but is still fairly treated on his best form and can't be ignored. The others, however, have plenty to prove at present.
