In depth

Verdict

SUBURBAN BAY is still a maiden over fences but will probably never get a better chance to open his account having been dropped a further 4lb since his latest fifth at Worcester, where he weakened up the straight having pulled too hard. If Wayne Hutchinson can keep him covered up, he should have too much pace for these. Up To The Mark is hard to predict nowadays but is another potentially well treated and makes more appeal than recent winners Michigan Assassin and Roc De Guye. Ginger's Lad could run well off bottom weight but Old Pals Act was pulled up on his chasing bow at Stratford and has plenty to prove here.
