It took a while for the penny to drop with Took The Lot at Fontwell but he was staying on nicely at the finish and better is expected here. Legends Ryde is penalised for winning at Ffos Las in March but she had no chance in a Grade 2 at Chepstow on her reappearance and should be competitive here. FILE ILLICO travelled strongly for a long way at Carlisle and is clearly at home on soft ground so is taken to find the necessary improvement to land this though Bird On The Wire, who was well regarded in the pointing field, is worth a market check.
