A typically-competitive renewal in which several appear to hold decent claims. The Two Amigos will ensure a strong gallop but faces a battle for the lead from the likes of Yalltari and Captain Chaos, though the latter took little interest on his reappearance at Cheltenham. Nothing went right for Django Django at Ascot, however, and he’s better than that. Despite top weight, Acting Lass could figure if in the mood and Tidal Flow will strip fitter for his run over a trip too short at Newton Abbot. After just four runs over fences, it’s doubtful that Notachance has yet peaked but BOLDMERE looks the one to be on. A smart novice last season, he was in obvious need of the run and not given a hard time at Chepstow in a race that’s already working out well.
