A good race for the time of year with KING'S FOREST taken to come out on top. R De Rien Sivola and Carrick Oscar are two of the leading challengers. Carrick Oscar has always shown ability but his success last month on his second start for Tim Vaughan was just the second of his career. He's never raced on ground faster than good so it's possible that he won't want conditions to dry out too much whilst a penalty doesn't make life easy. No Panic is also penalised but should relish the return to novice company having faced a couple of stiff tasks; stamina, however has appeared to be his forte and he may lack the pace for this trip. R De Rien Sivola weakened rather tamely after a mistake at the water and may find that this is more competitive than he cares for. Ogee developed into a smart hurdler last term and is interesting but preference is for another promising hurdler in King's Forest. He only won twice over hurdles but showed some useful form in defeat on occasions whilst on his sole start in an Irish point he chased home the useful Michael Flips. He's expected to make his mark in this sphere and King's Forest can get off to the best possible start.
