Verdict

A cracking handicap with the weights headed by last season’s Eider Chase winner Sam's Adventure and Canelo, who beat Snow Leopardess and Windsor Avenue in the Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby. The latter should go close if fully wound-up but does meet the placed horses on worse terms. Falco Blitz will have stamina to prove but Eclair Surf won over 3m at Sandown in February when Bobo Mac was only third. Legends Gold has each-way claims but CAPTAIN TOMMY is back on the same mark as when only finding one too good in this 12 months ago and is back over this trip for the first time since scoring at Uttoxeter in May so can come out on top.
