Be My Sea has never won on Turf and has been raised a harsh-looking 5lb for a narrow defeat in an ordinary race at Kempton. Shantou Tiger looked poised to strike after a couple of better runs at Musselburgh around the turn of the year but he’s finished tailed off in his last four. It’s difficult to have much faith in Solix or Arkadios but it might be too soon to write off PRINCESS ROANIA. She’s won a bumper and over 2m1f on the Flat but has endured a tough time over hurdles, finishing second five times. However, a couple of recent runs will have blown away the cobwebs and she may take some catching here if allowed an easy lead.
