Verdict

Moorlands Teri sets a useful standard and Paisley Cross has shown glimmers of ability but we'll take a chance with GLEBEHALL BAY. Venetia Williams has her string in good order and has a reasonable record in these races. Sam Thomas has been riding plenty of winners for the yard this season and the owners have been responsible for a couple of useful bumper performers in recent seasons. Moorlands Teri came within a short-head of beating Carole's Legacy on debut and has proved that was no fluke with her subsequent performances. She will be a tough nut to crack and her form is head and shoulders above that of Paisley Cross who has only shown a modicum of ability. Interesting newcomers include Edmo Yewkay's half-brother Hudibras, Minnie Hill and Twinkers but it's to Glebehall Bay that we'll look for the winner.
