Blackandamber Vic came here for a course and distance handicap a couple of weeks ago and made all for a battling victory. She's 5lb higher but looks certain to give a good account again. Tri Na Ceile has won a maiden and a novices' event at Kilbeggan and is obviously improving though she's been beaten off a lower mark in handicaps. Presenting Mahler is on the short-list as she's been in good form and hasn't been beaten far when stepped up to this trip. TROUBLED SOUL was a 33/1 chance when just touched off by today's rival Kris Kindle at Killarney and showed how much she had progressed with an easy victory at Kilbeggan. This is her handicap debut but she looks the type to go on to better things.
