He Is Top Class has been running very well and looked as though he'd gained his third victory over timber when passing the post in front at Sligo but he drifted right on the run-in, possibly due to heavy ground, and was demoted. Emmy Lou hasn't been beaten far in any of her last four starts but has now had 18 runs without winning so the vote goes to BALOFILO. She hasn't had much experience but has been improving lately and wasn't beaten far here a fortnight ago when runner-up to Mossy Island. Marvelous James has had 20 career starts without winning but Pierlow looks a big danger after scoring over fences at Tipperary as he comes here 11lb lower than over the bigger obstacles and with a 7lb claimer on board. Pleased As Punch doesn't win often but looks best of the remainder.
