Verdict

AS TEARS GO BY followed a handicap victory at Clonmel with a battling performance at Wexford where he beat a subsequent winner and a hat-trick beckons. Stablemate In From The Cold won a Sligo handicap in May while the very progressive Ostend has had a nice break since easily landing a Kilbeggan maiden in April. Wild Shot had a comfortable victory on the Flat at Tramore and is capable of winning from this mark over timber while Can't Stop Smiling defied a 13lb rise for winning here when completing a double on a return visit, though another 6lb rise makes this tougher.
