    Verdict

Dunbar has been a bit unfortunate not to have lost his maiden tag though his latest effort when headed close home came over 2m5f. He had The Abbey just behind that day when Gordon Elliott's charge led at around this trip before fading and the latter could just have the edge this time. Shamash, a dual winner at Wolverhampton, showed some potential over hurdles in 2017 but hasn't been seen since a run on the Flat almost a year ago. ONLYHUMAN has been in excellent form on the Flat, scoring twice and finishing a close second twice in strong handicaps. Now rated 96 and with his stable still in top form he can make a successful start over timber.
