Verdict

The versatile CAPE GENTLEMAN, a Grade 3 novice chase winner and successful in a Grade 2 hurdle, gained his third success on the Flat at Killarney on Thursday and looks the one to beat. Fan De Blues, another Grade 3 winner over fences, ran a cracking race in a tough Galway handicap last month while Exit Poll's close second to Rock Road in a Grade B handicap at Killarney on Saturday was another notable effort as he was conceding a stone to the winner. Grand Bornand made a winning debut over fences at Galway last summer but has failed to make the expected progress.
