Verdict
TORNADO WATCH had been racing mainly on heavy ground earlier this year where he showed nothing before heading for Downpatrick last month where he landed an almighty punt on good going. Not surprisingly, he's been handed a 12lb rise but won with such conviction that a follow-up looks on the cards. Konig Hall has been beaten a total of six lengths in his last five starts and will surely be winning soon but he's gone up another 3lb for a narrow defeat at Cork. Orchard Road has only won once in 18 starts over hurdles but might have won had he not made a last-flight error at KIlbeggan last time. Mic MIlano is only 3lb higher than when scoring on heavy ground here in April but Persian Wind needed every yard of the extended 2m1f when scoring here last month.
