In depth

Verdict

BALLINLOUGH GALE keeps finding one too good but could just have a little bit too much pace on this ground against some decent jumpers. Chief amongst the latter group is Jungle Junction, who won twice over fences in the spring and has some smart bumper form. Hes A Hardy Bloke has won a bumper and scored twice over hurdles since October though wouldn't want the going any quicker but the ground won't be a problem for St Clerans, still a maiden after 13 starts but a good fourth in a Limerick handicap last time. Kihavah didn't appear to enjoy front-running at Sligo after a promising debut at Down Royal.
