In depth

Verdict

Jewel In The Sun impressed in a bumper here last time and there is no reason why he shouldn't make a hurdler though he ran poorly on his only start over timber on heavy ground in February. Effortless has shown ability and was by no means disgraced behind the in-form Impersonator at Tipperary last time but Morning Legend was a major disappointment when strongly fancied for a Sligo bumper last month having run reasonably over timber at Wexford. SECOND GLANCE could do with some rain as there was plenty of give when he gained his only success on the level at Sligo. He produced his best run over hurdles on heavy ground at Cork in April when just touched off by Special Token and providing the going gets no quicker he can take this for the Charlie Swan/Barry Geraghty partnership.
