Although FARRINGDON ran moderately when last seen at Punchestown in April he's normally extremely consistent having won three times and been runner-up on six occasions over timber. He's been waiting for the ground to ease and may find conditions just on the quick side but further rain would greatly enhance his prospects and he can take this. Beau Michael is in top form at present having followed an easy victory on the flat here with a hard-fought success over Armaramak in a novice chase at Galway. He looks capable of better and may just have the edge over Glenstal Abbey, who made a winning debut over fences at Tipperary and has to concede weight all round. The 2006 Royal & SunAlliance Novice Hurdle winner Nicanor is much better known as a chaser these days but he retains plenty of ability while Tilabay looked a useful prospect last season and has only run three times so far this year.
