The versatile Salute Him hasn't reached a place in three starts over fences but makes his handicap debut on a 7lb lower mark than over timber so should be kept on the right side. Wellforth would be a certainty if taking his Grade 3 victory at Cork at face value but it was a farce of a race and he was very fortunate. Character Actor was having only his second start over fences when scoring at Tramore but a mark of 112 looks a bit high so it's PADDY O DEE who looks the one to be on. Paul Rothwell's charge is reasonably consistent and wasn't beaten far over hurdles at Tramore last time. His earlier close second to Odonimee at Wexford looks good enough for this.
