        Verdict

        Red Marling doesn't appear to be suited by softer conditions given his last effort and this may not be the occasion to repay connections with a first win. Bachelor Knight is unexposed on ground this soft and is out of form, but Cootehill Lass is progressive and is certainly worth noting on her first try in a nursery. HERNANDO TORRES struggled to find a run at Nottingham most recently and stayed on stoutly at the finish but just failed to get up. He can gain compensation today and score, with the cut in the ground likely to suit. Karate is a threat as he handles a variety of ground and is interestingly bred but his trainer is 0-13 with juvenile entries here this year. Hernando Torres gets the vote.
