In depth

Verdict

NO HASSLE HOFF was placed four times in Grade 2 company over hurdles and ran very well on his chasing debut under a big weight at Sandown where he only weakened close home. He'll take some beating with that under his belt though Kalahari Queen was almost as good over timber and also made a promising start over fences at Worcester. The latter will be a threat with her allowance while Uppertown Prince is one to look forward to over fences this campaign having ended last season with a fine effort in the Grade 1 Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree. Red Indian had some smart form in tough handicaps over hurdles and is another to note in an interesting novices' event.
