In depth

Verdict

Sunny Destination ran very well when runner-up here on heavy going a couple of weeks ago and any further rain would enhance his claims from the bottom of the weights. The veteran Plus Jamais is much better known as a chaser these days but has won over hurdles here though it's about time MIGHTY THUNDER (NAP) was winning over hurdles. Lucinda Russell's charge has disappointed since making a successful bumper debut but wind surgery appears to have helped as he's run well in his last two starts. Niceandeasy began his career with three victories on ground with plenty of give. He has the scope to do better and any further rain would aid his cause. Ryedale Racer is very consistent and was racing in better company last season so has to be respected despite an absence since April.
