Negus de Beaumont is on the hat-trick bid here and is preferred to Komoto and Prince Adjal. The selection looks progressive and he should be capable of defying a penalty as he seemed to score with plenty in hand at Sedgefield when beating Zaffie Parson last time. He stays all day and goes on the ground and he looks the one to beat. Komoto plugged on to finish third behind Hockenheim at Carlisle last time but he never looked like getting to the winner that day and he will need to show more today to get his head in front. Prince Adjal is a course and distance winner but he was disappointing when a beaten favourite at Kelso last time and he will need to leave that running behind to make the frame today. Em's Royalty is returning from a break and is not the most reliable but he will relish this ground and he could go well at a price. However, Negus de Beaumont is in cracking form and gets our vote.
