Verdict

Pertemps Networks has the best recent form with a win at Wolverhampton to his credit earlier this month. However, he failed to beat a rival in this race last year when SPHINX finished third. Edwin Tuer's veteran is 3lb lower this time around and won this contest in 2009. He gets the vote to do so again as the Oil Magnate has gone off the boil since scoring here last month and Chookie Hamilton has struggled off higher marks since winning at Musselburgh in August. Graceful Descent and Vivaldi are both out of form and hard to fancy.
