Longshanks, Sunday Rain and Eyez look the ones to concentratte on in this novices handicap chase and the confident vote goers to Longshanks. The gelding from the Kim Bailey yard was very impressive when winning at Haydock under similar conditions and although he has risen in the weights he is taken to score again as he still looks ahead of the handicapper. Sunday Rain rates the main danger he was second behind Salvage last time and a reproduction of that effort would give him definite place claims. Eyze won a novices chase in good style last time when defeating Loy's Lad but this looks much more competitive. Of the remainder Rose d'April is from a yard in form but did not look a natural fencer last time so the confident vote goes to Longshanks.
