HURRICANE HOLLOW (NAP) was expected to make a winning start over hurdles at Hexham and didn't disappoint. He probably had little to beat but there should be plenty more to come from Keith Dalgleish's charge, who was a decent sort in bumpers, and he's preferred to the more-exposed Sudski Star. Patrick Griffin's six-year-old did win over hurdles at Bangor in August but only beat two rivals and is better over fences. The market will be the best guide to the chances of French import Aristo Du Plessis and bumper winner Looking Well, though the latter did beat Major Ivan at Perth in April.
