EGYPTIAN WARRIOR appeared to enjoy stepping up to this trip at Clonmel where he had few problems on the quick ground. He has a double penalty but is progressing over hurdles and can complete a hat-trick. Kolaphos looked a nice staying prospect when comfortably beating Magical Moon at Kilbeggan in August and the runner-up scored next time. He'll make further progress as will Lord Scoundrel, who battled back on the run-in to beat Redrobin over this trip at Punchestown. After landing a Gowran maiden in June, Mumbo Bay has come up against useful opposition and not beaten far so he is definitely in with a shout in an open little race.
