Verdict
A very competitive handicap chase that may fall to Harrovian, Briar's Mist and Lovely Native are put forward as the main dangers. Harrovian has to shoulder top-weight this afternoon but is holding his form well. He chased home Red Perk in a similar event at Newcastle last time and a repeat of that effort should be good enough to land this. Briar's Mist returned to winning ways over a longer trip at Newcastle last time . He may find this trip on the short side nowadays, but could still be capable of making the frame. The ex-Irish Lovely Native is returning from a long lay off but doesn't look too badly treated for his British debut for Lennie Lungo. The pick of the others could be Hugo De Grez, if he gets his jumping back together, however Harrovian is expected to give weight and a beating to these rivals.
